The building will be fully occupied by Kardex Remstar, a Switzerland-based automated storage and retrieval solutions supplier. Occupancy is expected by the second quarter of 2020.
The Class “A” tilt-up building is designed with state-of-the-art features such as 50 ft bay spacing, energy-efficient LED motion detection lighting, advanced mechanical systems and a 60 mil TPO roof. Midway Logistics V will also include eight dock doors and twenty future knock out dock doors, along with two 16’x16’drive-in doors and a private 130 ft truck court for receiving and shipping.
This is the fifth Midway Logistics building within LCIP developed by the principles of Magnus Development Partners. “We are excited to be working with Kardex Remstar on this very important project”, said Kevin Werner, partner with Magnus Development Partners. “They will be a great addition to the 350-acre master-planned industrial park, which includes existing companies such as Dominos, Home Depot, Republic National Distributing Co, Laguna Tools, and Husqvarna”. Additional projects developed within the park this year include the completion of Lexington County’s Life Safety Building and Midway Logistics IV, a 200,000 SF Spec Industrial Building.
